Project Trust

In my Words
PT is amazing, I guess I should wait till I actually go overseas, but so far all communication has been quick, they give amazing support and the training week was awesome.
I recommend everyone goes.

All things said on this blog are my opinion and not that of Project Trust. etcetc

In their Words
A year out with Educational Volunteering Charity, Project Trust lets you experience life in Asia, Africa, Latin America or the Caribbean, not as a tourist but as a valued member of a local community. Our long term projects of eight or 12 months will give you plenty of time to explore your new surroundings, whilst working in your community will provide you with an incomparable intimate experience of the inner workings of your chosen country.

Taking a year out will change the way you look at the world. You’ll have to rise to new challenges on a daily basis and learn skills that will stay with you for life, not just your time overseas. In fact, the skills you pick up will enhance your CV and future career prospects. You may be one of hundreds graduating with a degree from your university, but you will be one of the few who can say they’ve lived and worked overseas before having even entered further education! And if you have decided that university is not for you, a year out with Project Trust before entering the world of work could still give you an invaluable foundation of life experience for the future.

Project Trust has been refining and redefining our programme since 1967. Compared to many gap year organisations we send only a handful of volunteers overseas each year, all of whom are 17-19 year old school leavers, handpicked and carefully matched to their project. This ensures that your year is just that... ‘Your’ year out: a rewarding experience that is personal to you.
